Restaurants all over the county are offering free meals for children today in celebration of Family Day — A Day to Eat Dinner with Your Children.
From 4 to 8 p.m. today, participating restaurants will either offer a free child's meal with the purchase of an entree, or a free entree for a child with the purchase of an adult entree for restaurants that don't have children's menus.
The offer is limited to two free meals per table.
The following restaurants are participating (go to calrest.org and click on “News + Events” for specific locations): Anthony's Fish Grotto, Boudin Bakery, Brigantine Seafood Restaurant, Cafe Coyote, Corner Bakery Cafe, Corvette Diner, Crest Cafe, El Pollo Loco, Firehouse American Eatery + Lounge, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Gio Bistro & Wine, Lake Wohlford Cafe, Miguel's Cocina, Pam Pam Cafe & Grill, Roy's Restaurant, Ruby's Diner, Terra Restaurant, The Steakhouse at Azul La Jolla, Via Italia Trattoria, Yard House San Diego and Zocalo.
